Thank you so much for your endeavours. My younger brother recently diagnosed with CML in chronic phase. We took imatinib 400mg once a day since 15 days. Before it the WBC count was around 80-90k but now it was 6700. I’m eagerly searching the web, read articles and clinical trials about the cure. The society is helping me a lot. Also I want to know more about the effectiveness and the risks of CAR-T cell therapy which is recently launched in india and other methods like allogenic stem cell transplant. 🙏🙏🙏

Can this cure HIV patients?

After getting the moderna vaccine in 2020 i started experiencing very troubling health issues, most notably high blood pressure and gastritis. In April i was diagnosed with CML. As soon as i started Sprycel every bit of those side effects wemt away almost completely. I am completely convinced theres a link between tha shot and my health issues.

My brother, who is known case of thalassemia major, who was also diagnosed with CML 2 years back, his CML resistant to imatinib, dasatinib... He went into blast crisis stage, so planned for BMT, but because of the complications he had during chemotherapy like infections, raised blood pressure with low blood counts the BMT plan cancelled.... Now he was planned for Asciminib drug, will it give remission from CML, any chance for remission.... Please reply

I was diagnosed from one blood test. This test should be part of the ACA 100% covered preventive screenings! People w MM suffer broken bones including spinal fractures, kidney failure etc. before they get diagnosed.

My thoughts were why don’t they take your blood from the moment they see too many WC , remove the bad stuff , and re-inject you with your cleaned blood ?

This "Society" denied an Emergency Fund to my daughter Who is a 20-year-Old developmentally delayed with Down's Syndrome and Confirmed by Seatte Children's Hospital that is On Treatment for Leukemia, for NOT having "Proof of Income". If my daughter, who happens to be Developmentally Physically and Mentally Delayed by 18 Years; and who has been for leukemia Treatment TWO times in her life; and Who apparently CANNOT WORK; would have "Working Income" WHY would my daughter NEED an Emergency Fund, and this is after it was SOCIAL WORK who Contacted them. I cannot Work due to being a full-time Care take of my daughter under her Condition; and they DENIED an Emergency Funding; it breaks MY HEART to See Such Demons getting Millions in Donations and EXERCISING RACISM So Openy; the females Who Answer the PHONES Are NASTY, impatient, you Can hear their Mean & Sarcastic tone of Voice and how they Don't Even Let YOU SPEAK, once they know that YOU ARE LATINO. What a SCAM.

Oh WAIT; Isn't this the Same Society that DENIED $500 Emergency Funding to a Girl with Down's Syndrome who is battling LEUKEMIA Twice in her life, because She didn't have PROOF OF INCOME. LOL, As if they ASK for PROOF of INCOME when Asking for MORE $$$$$$$$ DONATIONS $$$$$$. The irony!!!

Good video, not too long, informative. Definitely something patients should see before they start treatment. In terms of the short term side effects, some more specifics on the most common ones would be helpful. I would also have liked to hear more about long term side effects, how long these might last, etc.

LLS and Monica...this 3:36 long education is so very valuable for people to have a grasp on what they would have to pay, beyond premiums, in a year's time when consuming healthcare. Short, video, and precise. I will be utilizing this in patient facing resources going forward. For those diagnosed with cancer, especially young people who may have decades to live, knowing how deductibles/co-pays/co-insurance = max out-of-pocket is critical for life. Low premiums are attractive, but can be financially devastating is one actually needs to USE their health insurance. Bravo!

I would have greatly benefited if this service had been available when I was finished with my Bone Marrow treatment 32 years ago. I will never forget how grueling all the scans and test to see if I was still in remission.Thank you Dr. Siegel for this wonderful new service available for survivors that is now through Kaiser.

My mom is diagonal with APML she is going through the ATRA + arsenic trioxide her platelets are not stable and fluctuating every day, she is on constant dosage of donor platelets does anyone have seen similar thing? is this concerning?

Ive got different symptoms, Top of my head very sensitive when i wash my hair, never there for years now starting to bother me. My upper right side of my gums is sore to the touch when I brush my teeth, Dentist did not know what it is. It is my bone in my gums..My left hand index finger knuckle burning like a lit match inside. Im awakened in the middle of the night with a burning sensation, again, like a lit match running accross inside my leg..There is a red bump at the spot where the burning sensation stopped. Ive got red dots all over my legs which recently was told by the Doctor its caused from Low Platelets...I start a Bone Marrow Biopsy June 4th 2024. I believe this all start 1 year ago when I accidently Breathed in Carbon Monoxide...

I had gotten 2 Stem Cell transplants in 2020. I was on a chemo maintenance program and my multiple myeloma was in remission for 18 months. I had taken 2 covid vaccines and one booster. In August 2022, I took a second booster. In a month, my MM came back like it had never been treated. Coincidence? I won't take another covid vaccine or booster no matter what. All were Pfizer.

My husband had car t for lymphoma B cell. He had to stay in the hospital for 41 days. Thought it worked. Scans were good for four months, then came back with a vengeance. He was dead 8 months after car t. It was a grueling experience for such a short term result.

Wir haben hier in Deutschland eine echte!!Krankenversicherung, ale bezahlen und jeder kann medizinisch gut versorgt werden. PFUI! USA!!!

My best buddy died a few weeks ago. She was 67 years old. She was diagnosed with leukemia. Her death certificate stated leukemia followed by a question mark. She had over 90 blood transfusions and i wonder if this contributed to her death as they werent screened for covid T cells. She had been told that her leukemia was manageable but the white blood cells were wiped out in less than a day after each blood transfusion.
